About

A build isn’t finished when it looks finished.

The wiring is usually what decides whether the car stays on the road, or comes back as a mystery.

I’m Joshua Earley, a Murfreesboro local and a car builder. Growing up in a hot-rodding family, I was taught that quality and workmanship were the job, not something you added if there was time left over. I’ve been building new-age sports cars and classics for a long time, and I’ve seen what happens when a harness is made to look right in the bay and not to be worked on later. I think ahead. I want systems that look the way they should, run reliably, and stay accessible the first time they need to be diagnosed or repaired.

I trained at NASCAR Technical Institute and finished at the top of my class in advanced electrical diagnostics. I’m Holley EFI certified. The work I do now is custom harnesses, standalone engine management, LS and Gen III Hemi, American Autowire and Dakota Digital, and the systems that go with them: superchargers, turbos, methanol, boost control, fuel, and data acquisition, all wired as part of the car instead of bolted on after.

Early Auto Wire is the shop I built around that standard. We open soon in Murfreesboro.
